Everything You Need To Get The Nasty Urine Smell Out

Urine doesn't sit on the surface. It soaks through the carpet pile, into the backing and underlay, and on hard floors it runs into grout lines. A surface spray only ever reaches the first 2cm of a problem that's often 5cm down. That's why the smell keeps coming back on warm or humid days.

Our double strength enzyme formula follows the waste all the way to the source, breaking down the uric acid crystals and consuming them until nothing is left of the stain or the odour.

Most enzyme cleaners are made in a lab and rely on added bacteria to work. PawLab is formulated through a natural fermentation process and works with the bacteria already present in the mess. No added bacteria means no loss of potency on the shelf, no fussy conditions, and no risk of skin irritation.

A proprietary wetting agent provides up to 10X more surface coverage, deeper penetration and prolonged evaporation, so the solution spreads instead of beading and stays wet long enough for the enzymes to finish the job.

The kit treats all four layers in one go: the surface, the fibres, the backing and underlay, and grout.

Step 1. Dab up what's on top with a microfibre cloth. If it's an old stain, lightly wet the area with water first, then dab.

Step 2. Saturate the area with the 1L Urine Stain & Odour Remover. Cover the visible stain and around 30cm wider, so every trace comes into contact with the enzymes. A light mist stops at the fibres and never reaches the underlay.

Step 3. Leave it 5 to 10 minutes. The enzymes need contact time and they need to stay moist to work. Then blot up any excess and let the area air dry completely.

Step 4. Once dry, use the 2L Carpet Shampoo through a carpet cleaning machine to flush and extract everything from the backing and underlay.

Step 5. For tiled areas indoors or out, spray the Urine Stain & Odour Remover generously over the affected grout lines, leave it 5 to 10 minutes, then use the grout brush to agitate and flush out what's trapped inside.

Step 6. Finish with the 750ml Healthy Habitat Disinfectant to clean and disinfect the surrounding surfaces.

Most people under-apply on their first go. If it feels like too much, it's about right.

Outdoor surfaces are more porous and dry out faster, so use more than you would indoors.

As with any cleaner, test a small hidden area first. Do not use on unsealed timber or leather.
